Works great. Wanted to clear up floor space in my tattoo booth and this helped tremendously. Mounted a ring at the end and now people are even more scared because they're getting a tattoo and feel like theyre at the dentist with a big light in their face.

I use this to hold a 18" Neewer light ring that's in my barber shop at home. Very sturdy and extends farther than a lot of the other booms I reviewed. Like many others have said the mounting hardware is junk. I used expandable drywall anchors on one side and two wood screws with washers on the other side because I was directly over a stud. Very happy with the quality and how well it functions!
