This Neewer magnetic ND filter kit is such a good idea, and a better quality item than expected from the comparatively low price point. The kit comes in a decent quality plastic storage case. The screw on adapter ring fits perfectly onto my lens, achieving a snug connection with just a small amount of turning. The magnet is powerful and the filter simply snaps into place. It’s not dislodged when walking even quite briskly. The different stop levels are clearly marked on the filter, and turning through these moves smoothly, without being too loose and slipping.The only downside to this is that (although the adapter matches for width) the front of the filter is slightly wider than the camera lens, so this can’t be used with a 67mm lens cap or hood. I spotted that one of the reviews in French (many thanks to this commentator!) suggested that whilst my usual 67mm lens cap doesn’t fit this CAN be used with a 72mm cap, so decided to give this a try and bought myself one costing just a few pounds. This does fit albeit rather loosely.A little bit annoying not to have warning of the extra 5mm that this adds to the front end, and the need for additional accessories - but at least this can be worked around to keep the parts protected.

スクリューでハメるのは本当に手間なことをこれを使って実感します。ただ、持ち運びの際に外れていることもあるので、しっかり取り付ける必要があります。難点はレンズフードが外せないレンズには取り付け不可なことです。

I love the hard stops but many times it would accidentally fall if I am not very careful I wish there was some sort of little safety lock, but it still work great and good quality .

Everything you need to know is included in the video regarding real world results.With that said, how is this 5 stop ND filter?Very good actually. I've had other (more expensive) ND filters that seem to always produce a difficult to deal with purple or very deep blue colour shift. Not the case with this one. It does produce a colour shift, but it only leans to the warm side (yellows and just a touch of green) which is very easy to deal with by adjusting the white balance a slight bit to the cooler side (blues).The packaging is well thought out the magnetic system is very well designed. Neewer states that you need an 82 mm cap for the 77 mm filter, but I was able to use my existing Pentax DA* 16-50 F/2.8 PLM AW cap on it (it JUST fits on, so you still have to be careful as the cap can be knocked off easily). The magnetic holder that screws onto the lens has a very low profile (it has a very slim ring) which minimizes any vignetting. There is an effect of a cpl filter with this as you turn from ND 2 to ND 32 (as you move up the range towards ND 32, the filter will remove reflections in water) which for me, is a good thing.The magnetic system is just the right tension to mount and remove from the holder. Unless you strike something with the tip of the lens, you won't need to worry about the filter falling off.One important thing to note is that when it comes to using your lens hood. If your hood is reversed for transport, you'll need to remove and mount it for shooting first, and then attach the filter to the magnetic holder."But why would I want a more expensive magnetic filter when you can find other ND filters for less?"Well, the advantages of this style of filter is that you can remove it quickly when you don't need it and attach it in a split second when you do need it. In photography, lighting can change at any moment and the quicker you can set up to get the shot, the better and this absolutely helps with that. Plus, it's a multi coated glass element vs the cheaper filters that use plain resin/plastic and lose image sharpness as soon as you mount it to the lens. Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for and this ND filter is absolutely worth the money (as long as you can drag a slider to adjust your WB, or you like images with a warm tone).
