This is a fascinating iPhone case, and it works pretty well as a cage from a protection standpoint. It adds about an inch of width to your phone, so remember that a 15 Promax is already a pretty big phone. This makes it huge, but in exchange for the size, you get a solid metal case that can take a beating, and because it only opens up from the little tab, it holds to your phone very well. The only thing about the protection is the backside glass of your phone is fully exposed. There's no plastic protection there, but the good side is that you can see the Apple logo, and if you use MagSafe accessories, they will connect directly to the phone without plastic in between, so that's kind of nice. The camera part of the park works well when you buy the phone case. I put on the 67 mm adapter and then put in a 67 mm UV lens filter, which works well. It holds excellent in protecting your camera, and you can use other filters to change the colors and D. The other two adapters are for a 17 mm lens, which I don't have, and the other one is for a T lens, which I also do not have. I only use the large 67 mm adapter all around the case of the ten tripod mount screw holders, and that's pretty nice so that you can mount this thing anywhere, or you can mount anything to it. It'll support it well, and then there are also two cold shoe mounts you can put for camera accessories like flashes and stuff like camera lights. Hence, this is an excellent tool for those who want to do much more with their iPhone than the iPhone can typically handle.

Great upgrade from my neewer cage for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I’m sad there’s no handles to buy yet for the upgraded system. I was able to mount this setup on a DJI ronin RS3 mini and worked great. Also 67mm filters for my Panasonic lumix S5II worked great on this cage. Perfect spot for me to mount a SSD for pro raw external recording. Very sharp cage with smooth rounded corners. Maybe doesn’t feel as solidly built as the metal iPhone 13 Pro Max cage I had from them. But I like it and it’s got more features and abilities than small rigs cage and it’s cheaper. I’d get it for sure if you got a iPhone 15 pro max or pro.
Updated: so I love this cage but after using it just a few times the Allen screws that keep it together become extremely loose by just using it. It’s a very tiny size and I had to buy an Allen wrench to fit it to tighten it. I have to tighten it every single time I use it. It becomes loose and feels awful. Feels cheap. I hope they can fix this issue because it’s a simple fix. Just isn’t as solid as the cage I had from them for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. And this is the V2 so I wonder if the original one has same issues?

Just received over the weekend. I've not officially used it yet, but I've mounted the phone, setup the accessories, etc.
I was comparing this V2 unit I received with the Beast Grip cage solution for MUCH more $$$. I decided since I'm an amateur only getting back into photography after a long hiatus, I'd be better off not investing huge piles of cash right at the start.
I was really surprised at the overall "feel" of the product. Its doesn't feel like a cheap POS. My iPhone 15
Pro Max fits snugly into the unit and the lock mechanism is solid.
The backing plates clip into the cage, in front of the lenses, with a solid positive lock.
I purchased the cage specifically for the filter adapter ring, having some ND's and a CPL are important to me and all the other solutions allow light to leak in behind the filter (including the clip on from Neewer, but it also blocked the spot on screen where you turn on/off for RAW)
I also purchased a reducer ring so my 55mm filters would fit on the provided 67mm ring mount. This works fine as long as you don't intend to use the wide angle lens. If you do, you will get some vignetting on the left side. This is fine for the regular or macro lens of course.
If you have a large filter investment, this might be an important detail to take note. I actually purchased the case specifically for the filter mount, and I don't have a huge investment in filters, so today I ordered a 67mm ND set from Neewer
I can't comment on the 17mm lens mounting options as I don't have any of them to try
All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase

I purchased the first version of this case when it was made available. I loved it, and felt it was almost perfect. I found that I worried my phone would slip out of the front or back of the case as it was only held in with a small silicone lip. It never did, and I don’t think it would, but this new version solves that problem. There are aluminum tabs on the back of the v2 that were only silicone on the v1. This will prevent your phone from slipping out of the back. The front provides stiffer silicone that prevents the phone from having any accidental slips out of the front.
The machine and tolerances are great, not perfect. I’m a former machinist, so I notice imperfections in aluminum machining. Others without this background will not notice that the manufacturer would have benefit from a cleanup pass in the machining stage. This is such a nominal issue. Don’t consider it when making your purchase.
I like that there is a metal lanyard bar. Not a hole; a bar. This seems more solid, and it’s large enough to fit paracord through.
The closing latch is on a machined spring loaded ball detect. You have to mean to open this case to remove your phone. It will never happen accidentally.
Corners are rounded and comfortable to hold. Unlike the v1 case. Threading for 1/4 inch is superb.
I might have been the first person on Amazon to purchase this case, as it’s still listed as preorder on Neewers website, and that’s pretty awesome. I’m also a really busy professional photographer and I beat the breaks off the v1 of this case, and it handled all my abuse. I’m excited to see how the v2 does.
Subtracted one star only because I think this case could benefit from a clear back with MagSafe magnets built in. Folks like me are going to EDC this case, and while it’s heavy, bulky and everyone has questions, I still worry about breaking the rear of my phone because it’s not protected. An Apple MagSafe wallet fills the space well, so my mind is at ease, but there is enough protection all around the phone that I’m confident I could literally frisbee this thing out the window on the highway and have it be fine.
