NEEWER X17 II テレプロンプター

The Neewer X17 Teleprompter is a beautifully constructed, professional quality kit that provides not only a sturdy platform, but also bundles a remote and blue tooth app to install on your tablet. After you attach your camera to the platform and install everything, you've got a fully featured teleprompter with all the major items included.The first thing I did was make sure to pull out one of my more heavy duty tripods for use with this teleprompter. The steel and glass construction is sturdy and has some heft. With the added weight of a camera rig and tablet balanced on it you'll want to make sure your tripod can handle the total weight.I especially like how the platform is designed to put the camera up on an elevated block. The position of the block can be adjusted forward and back and even the height can be adjusted. They provide a quick release plate on top of the block and it's compatible with Manfrotto QR 501PL. The beam splitter glass is very high quality and the transmission of light through the glass will not impede the quality of your video. The hood around the glass and the camera is well made with zipper pulls and ties to adjust the fit.The app for your tablet can be downloaded from either the iOS or android store. The platform has a sliding arm in the front that pulls out for the tablet but note that the max it can handle is a tablet up to 14.3" x 9.2" in size.The small RT113 remote is simple to operate. It needs to be blue tooth paired with your tablet after you install the app. Buttons for adjusting the scrolling speed of text or the size of text allow you to make adjustments on the fly while you are on camera, a very handy feature.On your tablet's app you can also make adjustments, the most important one is setting up for "mirror reverse" of the text. You do that by pushing the "triangle" looking icon on the bottom left side.When you install the app you will make a new user account with Neewer that gives you 10MB of cloud storage space for holding your scripts. Make sure you remember your login so that you can use this feature. I didn't try to play around with it yet, but I think this will be very handy as it will allow you to prepare scripts from any computer and upload them to have ready to go by downloading to the tablet.In total, the Teleprompter kit includes:* 17" teleprompter with beam splitter glass* remote control* access to Neewer teleprompter app and cloud folder services* quick release plate with two sizes of fixing screws (1/4" and 3/8")* cleaning cloth* carrying caseI did note that they mention some accessory items that are available. One that I might need is the option for mounting an external monitor. I probably will be shooting on my own and will need to have a monitor to know how good the video is... or isn't.Other than that, this kit includes all the items I could ever need for a professional scripted performance in front of the camera.
