So I am new to cameras. So I bought all kinds of things for my new ZV-E10 and this cage was one of them. it is light but study. It has so many mounting points on this cage. The grip in the front protects the from of the camera while having a rubber coating it feels good in my hand While protecting the front of my camera.
The only negative I will say id the bottom mounting holes. there is no 1/4 thread in the middle of the cage. its only a little flaw but when I put the camera on my gimble I have to quick plate a little to the side instead of in the middle, But it dont hurt nothing.

Designed for the Sony ZV-E10 camera model, this cage is an extremely well-built and robust piece of equipment. Made from aluminium, the cage fits around the ZV-E10 which gives it a solid housing and enhanced grip thanks to the silicone handle, which has a good texture and feel to it. It has rubber padding on the inside to protect the camera against scratches, and all the holes are precision cut to allow for expandability.
It features the standard 1/4 inch thread at the bottom making it easy to attach to most tripods and rig systems, plus a removable locking screw to tighten it in place which conveniently latches magnetically to the base of the cage. There’s a hot-shoe recess for compatibility with Sony-branded microphones and flash devices. Both the base plate and upper cage have an abundance of screw holes for connecting to various gimbals, tripods and rigs, which makes the camera more versatile to use in different scenarios without the need to screw and unscrew additional hardware.
As with all Neewer products, this too is a great piece of kit. Naturally, it does add a little more bulk and weight to the camera, but is easier and more comfortable to grasp and at the same time provides good protection to the camera.

I got this camera cage with silicone grip for my Sony ZV-E10.The cage fits in seamlessly with precise cutouts that don't obstruct any buttons or outlets.
Cage is crfated from solid aluminum metal, rigid and high quality ensuring longevity and durability. The silicone grip offers a comfortable and secure hold, ensuring stability during shooting. The cage's design incorporates an extensive array of 1/4" threads, 3/8" ARRI locating holes, and an Arca-type QR base. This versatility allows for easy mounting on various stands, tripods, and other camera accessories.
One notable feature is the thoughtful inclusion of a key tool that functions as a screwdriver for the bottom 1/4" screw and an Allen wrench for the side anti-twist screw. The manufacturer goes a step further by ensuring the tool is magnetically attachable to the base of the camera cage, preventing the risk of misplacement.

This is an update to Neewer's other cage for the SONY ZV-E10. Overall fit and finish is top notch. Neewer is a brand I have come to trust. This cage adds a silicone grip and provides a few other changes to the frame itself. The most obvious difference with this cage is the silicone grip, this adds a bit more girth to the grip which is an improvement over the standard grip on the ZV-E10. The frame sits a bit differently than the other Neewer cage for the ZV-E10 where the top rail sits a bit more forward of the camera body, this helps keep the hot shoe on the camera clear and might help balance the camera with lens a bit better when using a top handle. One issue with the top part of this cage is that it adds a 3/8" ARRI mounting point to the top which eliminated my ability to use a 2" NATO rail that I had on hand, you will need a longer NATO rail if you use NATO top handles with this or purchase a top handle with 3/8" ARRI. I prefer NATO attachments as I move handles (grips) between different camera rigs and it makes for an easier, quicker exchange. The battery door clears the cage when opened so adding a battery and SD card are easy. One big improvement over the non-silicone version of this cage is the tool that they supply on the bottom of the cage. The new design adds a small Allen driver to the tool so you can easily attach the anti-twist part on the right side of the cage (camera strap point on ZV-E10) without having to hunt down that small Allen wrench which is so small it always gets lost. I think overall this is an improvement over the non-grip version of this cage and would recommend it for every SONY ZV-E10 owner who needs to add handles, grips, lights, microphones, etc. Competitively priced compared to other cage options for the ZV-E10.
