I recently purchased the NEEWER G9 II S5 II Cage along with the HDMI Cable Clamp, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way!First off, the build quality is fantastic. The cage feels sturdy and durable, providing excellent protection for my camera without adding unnecessary bulk. It fits my camera perfectly, allowing easy access to all the necessary ports and buttons.One of the standout features for me is the HDMI Cable Clamp. It's an absolute game-changer, keeping my HDMI cable securely in place during shoots, ensuring uninterrupted footage without any worry of accidental disconnections. This alone has saved me so much time and frustration.Additionally, the design of the cage is thoughtfully done. It doesn't obstruct any of the camera's functionalities, and the multiple mounting points allow for versatile accessory attachment, giving me the flexibility to customize my setup according to my needs.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Overall, this is a lightweight cage that has almost everything you need. Top + Side Nato Rails are a huge plus. Since it's a half-cage, the right grip on the camera is unobstructed and keeps the native feel. Adding a NATO handle to the left side makes the camera extremely comfortable to hold, with the option of mounting the same handle to the top for vertical shooting.I specifically bought this cage because it came with a cable clamp. However, it only clamps onto the HDMI cable, and NOT the USB-C connector. If you only wanted to clamp one cable, why wouldn't it be the flimsier USB-C port? When I'm trying to reduce the amount the USB-C cable sticks out, I use right-angle adapters. However, the HDMI cable clamp makes this almost impossible.To make matters worse, the cable clamp has a slot for the screw so you can adjust it forward and back for different size cables. However, on my unit whenever I tighten down the clamp to the cage, the clamp rotates from the screw slot to an egregious angle. It rotates enough that it would add unnecessary strain to the cables, something that defeats the whole point of having a cable clamp. It doesn't sit properly on the cage whatsoever.If they fixed the cable clamp rotating and added a USB-C clamp this cage would be a home run. This cage was so close to being perfect, hence the 4 stars. I will still be keeping this for photography because of its versatile lightweight design. But I will unfortunately have to get a different cage for when I want to do anything that involves the HDMI or USB-C. In the case of the S5iiX, the USB-C clamp is essential for recording externally to an SSD.

I wish they had planned better for the rotating screen not to be blocked by the HTML locking mechanism. It's annoying that you have to be extra careful every time you need to work with the screen because the HTML system is on the way. Other than that, it's very well made.

Well thought out Cage for the Panasonic S5ii.Was looking around for a cage for my new camera and the Neewer cage checked all the boxes. While this cage didn't come with a handle or wrist strap like the other brand what it had was 2 hotshoe mounting locations so I will be able to fit a wireless mic rx along with a light without having to get any extra attachments. The cage is well constructed. No sharp edges. Has rounded corners. Has rubber padding where the camera sits on and also on top so the camera body is less likely to get scratched from installing/removing. All of the camera ports can easily be accessed without having to remove the camera. Battery can easily be swapped out, quick access to sd card slots, mic, and hdmi port. Dials and buttons are not blocked and easily accessed too.I feel much better having this cage installed to protect my new camera from day to day use, not to mention the flexibility to add handles and other things that I might have to use in the future. Oh yeah the bottom of the cage is already a plate so if you have the mount on the tripod or gimbal the cage will just slip into place. Also the tool that is included to remove the 1/4 screw and small hex bolts sits under the cage and is held in place by multiple strong magnets.
